Farsight has planned and implemented a rework of Bengt Dahlgren AB´s IT Infrastructure. The project has been done in collaboration with other Bengt Dahlgren divisions and a number of other IT-suppliers. Specifically the project has involved WAN and LAN infrastructure, data migration, backup and IT-operations.

The co-operation with Farsight has mostly involved the creation of a large data-warehouse where data from a number of business and supporting systems has been integrated and washed to create coherent data cubes for time reporting, time management and follow up concerning key business indicators as well as mentoring. The data warehouse has been an integral part in verifying quality and correctness in collected data as well as for reporting data from different business and support systems.

Farsight AB has for several years delivered senior and junior software development consultants to SAAB AB Electronic Defence Systems. The projects have mostly dealt with military systems where our consultants have worked on programming, design and testing using specific programming languages requiring special expertise.

We use Farsight´service ProVide as a file service together with a certificate when exchanging files with customers and suppliers. It has been stable for many years now and basically just keeps on going, which is great for us!

We are totally happy with Farsight and ProVide and the way it automates the work with our customers. We use it to alert our customers when a new file is available for download through SFTP/FTPS, by sending out a mail automatically. We also use it to create local folders in a specific tree.

Farsight solution, ProVide is definitely a reliable, cost-effective, on-premise easy to use file sharing solution. In those cases we do need assistance the support/development staff is really helpful.

Farsight´s software ProVide is working really well for us and it has come to be a central part of our business. The process to achieve secure download is smooth regardless of which homepage you’re on and the logs are great. We use ProVide for pretty much everything, e.g: for giving Nordic customers access to download updates of several applications and for us to take care of their backups.

We use ProVide from Farsight on a webserver to secure the transfer of files and we love how simple, reliable and affordable this product is. Simple and stable!

We haven’t had any problems with ProVide from Farsight; on the contrary, the solution works better than we ever could expect. We use it for internal storage, and so far, it covers all of our needs.
